This May, it won’t have escaped your notice that the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) came into force, changing the way businesses collect, use and store data.
You will probably have been just as affected by this as we have and, like us, you were probably mailing your clients ahead of the deadline asking them to consent to your continuing to send them emails, newsletters and the like.
Of course the problem with that is, once the deadline had passed, we were no longer able to contact those who may have intended to reply and give us their consent, but just didn’t get around to it.
