Air Compressors – They Get Everywhere

When guests take a tour of the Locksley distillery in Sheffield, some photo opportunities are inevitable. A selfie with a glass of their (rather delicious) Sir Robin of Locksley gin? Obviously. A shot or two of the fabulous grade 2 listed Portland Works, the distillery’s home (and once home to stainless steel)? Definitely

But when Algar Air’s Simone Kidd visited with her best friend, she happened to bump into (not literally – she hadn’t had that much gin) a Worthington Creyssensac Rollair 700 rotary screw air compressor.

Naturally, she asked for a photo by it. As you might expect, she was the first person on the distillery tour to ask that.

After a brief chat about their compressor, the tour and tasting resumed. Simone thoroughly recommends a visit (you can book a tasting tour here) – even if you’ll probably be focusing on something other than the air compressor…
