The British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) is the UK’s only technical trade association for manufacturers, distributors and users of air compressors and other air powered tools. Air-Tech is BCAS’ expo, the UK’s only dedicated exhibition for the compressed air, generators and vacuum market.
It’s a place where the industry comes together and, if you’re anyone in air compressors, it’s a place you need to be. This year, not only did Algar Air attend the event at Birmingham’s NEC, our MD Simone Kidd collected an important award from BCAS.
10 years of BCAS membership
Simone collected the 10 years continuous membership award from BCAS vice president Steven Rohan. Sharing the news via LinkedIn Steven said:
“The British Compressed Air Society’s Continuous Membership Award acknowledges and promotes businesses that have been loyal and longstanding members of BCAS. These continuous membership awards reflect the industry’s commitment to excellence and the position BCAS members hold as a centre for design, manufacture, export, distribution and excellent customer service. We extend our thanks to our members who have contributed to the improvement of our industry through their active engagement in the Society.”
Speaking about the award, Simone said:
“I’m very proud to receive this award on behalf of the Algar Air team. BCAS membership says something about the sort of business you are. It shows you’re committed to compliance and to staying up to date with legislation. It shows you want to learn and develop your technical skills. And it demonstrates you’re committed to continual improvement. BCAS membership helps us do all of these things, and we believe it’s a mark of reassurance for our customers.”
